KAP Manufacturing is proud to announce two new purchases to the equipment line

In KAP’S continued strategic pursuit of excellence and improvement KAP has purchased a new HAAS VF-6/50 vertical mill with a TRT 310 trunnion making this machine fully 5 axis. This new addition will not only expand capacity, but also enhance capabilities. The addition of this new machine will add another 5 axis machine to the current lineup which will open up possibilities to machine complex hard metal parts as well as save on setup times during the machining process. This will allow KAP to increase efficiency and overall throughput times on all parts.

KAP also has purchased a Master 3D Gage multi axis inspection arm. This Arm will be fully mobile to all machines with in KAP to reduce downtime for first article operation inspections without sacrificing quality. KAP has always believed that quality starts at the machine, not in the inspection department. This new inspection arm will create a leaner means of inspection, which will be value added throughout the entire manufacturing process. KAP’s constant dedication to quality, while reducing loss of time shows it dedication to striving to provide our customers with the high quality parts at a competitive price.
